The PeeKoo™ concept was conceived from two different personal experiences in my life and my introduction to motherhood.

I have always appreciated the "European" way of sleeping - a fitted sheet on the mattress and a soft duvet cover over a warm down comforter.  When I went away to college, this became my sleeping arrangement of choice.  The absence of the top sheet provided a simple, cozy and comfortable setting.  I didn't get wrapped up in the sheet in the middle of the night or find it at the bottom of my bed each morning.  It also offered a way to quickly make-up the bed each day without having to align the top sheet and tuck it in.  The only difficult part was the constant washing and drying of the duvet cover to ensure a clean bed.

Several years later, during a trip to France with my husband, I was reintroduced to the ease and comfort of the European sleeping method.  The heavenly bed in the little hotel on the Mediterranean was made up of only a bottom sheet and a plain white comforter.  It brought me back to my college years and how I missed the carefree way of sleeping - one leg out, not getting tangled in the top sheet and finding it at the bottom of the bed the next morning.

That night with much jetlag, the PeeKoo™ concept was born.  I had created a way to deliver a detachable sheet on a duvet cover allowing for the perfect night's sleep and the ease of cleaning and make-up.

Although the idea initially was designed for my own use, I knew from personal experience as a mother of two, the age group that would most benefit from this was children.  It is my pleasure to offer a truly inspired bedding solution for kids' comfort and parents' ease.
